Shaelie's Missionary Adventure!: Saying goodbye...

I know I'm going to be home in a couple days but I just wanted to give some last words! This week was really special! It all started with my birthday! Apart from having to spend a majority of the night fixing our front door that I kinda broke it was pretty chill. I felt love from all the members that we visited and I was able to get a little bit of cake and even a few gifts which were totally unnecessary. My companion did a few cute things for me which was nice and I got some free Açaí! haha woo! On wednesday we had our last zone meeting. They had a whole suprise party planned for my Birthday and also for me and Elder Nogueiras going home. It was all decked out Brasil with tons of food! It was really sweet of them to do for us and a few members of the ward helped out which was nice. It was really fun and also spiritual, I'm really going to miss the oportunities to learn from the missionaries and have time to practice. During the week I tried to teach while saying bye to everyone, it was good but also sad.

On Friday we had a Family Night with ward members, its suposed to be a weekly thing but people are having trouble getting into it so there weren't a ton of people there but it was fun! On saturday I had my Exit interview with President Tanner... I was dreading it but exited at the same time just because it makes the ending official! But it was really special and got me excited for the future and all thats ahead of me.

On sunday we had a stake conference which was actually a broadcast with 101 stakes in São Paulo e Rio de Janeiro. It was with the area presidency, Elder Ballard, Elder Scott, and Sister Stephens. It was another eye opener and got me excited once again for whats ahead.

I'm so grateful for my opportunity to serve a mission in Brasil and will forever cherish the memories and people I have met here!
